The classrooms are designed for art-related programs. LO S A N G E L E S C I TY CO L L E G E G8 Physics and Earth Sciences The 26,000-square-foot, two-story building completes the Science & Mathematics Complex. The LEED-Certified building houses the Geology,Anthropology, and Physics departments. E A ST LO S A N G E L E S CO L L E G E S.A.I.L.S. Student Union The 58,000-square-foot, two-story building includes food service, meeting rooms for students and the student store. The second floor includes state-of-the-art learning spaces for the Culinary Arts program. LO S A N G E L E S H A R B O R CO L L E G E Central Energy Plant with Fuel Cell This critical infrastructure project will provide central chilled and hot water on the main campus and replace outdated equipment. An important feature is the Fuel Cell that will use recovered heat to provide electricity, substantially reducing energy costs. LO S A N G E L E S M I S S I O N CO L L E G E Mason Avenue Re-Route This project will relocate vehicular traffic to the perimeter of campus and improve the pedestrian experience along Mason Avenue between Olympic Drive and El Rancho. Improvements include the entrance to the new Anthropology/ Geography parking lot. LO S A N G E L E S P I E R C E CO L L E G E School of Science The 27,000-square-foot, two-story building is a steel-braced structure with a “cool” roof. The building will be home to the Physiology, Anatomy, Biotech, Biology, Microbiology, Geography, Geology and Chemistry programs. LO S A N G E L E S S O U T H W E ST CO L L E G E Culinary Arts The 71,100-square-foot, two-story building is a living lab where students can learn and gain experience in a real life dining setting. The building includes a herb garden, an outdoor dining area, activity field and a plaza. L.A. T R A D E-T E C H N I C A L CO L L E G E Storm Water Implementation This infrastructure project completes the Storm Water requirements for Lot D and mitigates flooding that occurred near the Campus Center building at the intersection of Hatteras Street and Ethel Avenue. LO S A N G E L E S VA L L E Y CO L L E G E Watson Center 2 The16,310-square-foot facility for the Film & Television Production program will be composed of new teaching stations, a sound stage with overhead catwalk, a prop shop, costume lab and outdoor instructional spaces.
